terms of service.
Last updated 22 October 2026. By using Slate you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Slate.
Who can use Slate
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age where you live) and able to agree to these terms. You're responsible for activity on your account.
The AI agent
Slate's agent uses AI models that can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Check what it writes before relying on it or sharing it, and don't use it for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. If a reply is offensive or harmful, long-press it and tap Report, or email us.
Your content
Your page, chat and the things you upload are yours. You give Slate permission to store, process and send them to the services described in the privacy policy only to run Slate for you. You're responsible for having the rights to what you upload or ask the agent to publish. You can delete everything at any time from your profile.
Acceptable use
Don't use Slate to break the law; harass, threaten or impersonate anyone; publish sexual content involving minors, hateful or violent content, malware, spam or scams; infringe others' rights; or attack, overload or get around the limits of the service. We may remove content, links or accounts that do, and report illegal content to the authorities.
Your brain's account
OpenRouter and Instinct are separate services with their own terms. Any costs there, such as OpenRouter credits, are between you and them; Slate doesn't charge you or sell anything in the app.
Your page link
Your page is private behind a link that expires. Anyone you give the link to can see your page while it's valid.
No warranty
Slate is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. It may change, be interrupted or stop.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Slate and its makers aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content generated by AI models, OpenRouter or your Instinct. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Ending
You can stop using Slate and delete your data at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Apple
If you got Slate from the App Store, these terms are between you and Fine Art Studio, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for Slate or its support, and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Changes
These terms may change; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use Slate means you accept it.
